So many things have changed since the last time I wrote, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moved to Peachland, BC (viewed the house in May, moved in on June 30th).<\/li>\n<li>Gutted our house in Surrey in preparation to sell it.<\/li>\n<li>Brought home our second Labrador Retriever Sunny (Purcell&#8217;s Little Miss Sunshine).<\/li>\n<li>Watched in horror as wildfires surrounded West Kelowna and Kelowna.<\/li>\n<li>Evacuation alert for a (small) fire in Peachland.<\/li>\n<li>My Mom and Gerald moved to Peachland&#8230;six houses down from us!<\/li>\n<li>We got a new doctor and discovered my iron levels were dangerously low.<\/li>\n<li>Finally got a CT for the sinus pain I&#8217;ve had for 30+ years and discovered there&#8217;s a cyst up there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Like many people life since the pandemic has been hard. I&#8217;m not sure if it&#8217;s <em>because<\/em> of the pandemic; I wasn&#8217;t affected by it (I didn&#8217;t get COVID-19 until 2023, our jobs weren&#8217;t affected, our families were safe) but society has definitely changed for the worse.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been toying with the idea of blogging again.
