I’ve been toying with the idea of blogging again. So many things have changed since the last time I wrote, including:
- Moved to Peachland, BC (viewed the house in May, moved in on June 30th).
- Gutted our house in Surrey in preparation to sell it.
- Brought home our second Labrador Retriever Sunny (Purcell’s Little Miss Sunshine).
- Watched in horror as wildfires surrounded West Kelowna and Kelowna.
- Evacuation alert for a (small) fire in Peachland.
- My Mom and Gerald moved to Peachland…six houses down from us!
- We got a new doctor and discovered my iron levels were dangerously low.
- Finally got a CT for the sinus pain I’ve had for 30+ years and discovered there’s a cyst up there.
Like many people life since the pandemic has been hard. I’m not sure if it’s because of the pandemic; I wasn’t affected by it (I didn’t get COVID-19 until 2023, our jobs weren’t affected, our families were safe) but society has definitely changed for the worse.
