I’m in my early forties. I grew up in Greater Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada) and now live in Peachland, BC. I love motorcycles. Riding a motorcycle is a dream come true for me. I am passionate about bikes and racing. I watch the MotoGP, WSBK, and the Isle of Man TT. I was a part-time instructor at Pacific Riding School for 8 years. My full time job is heading up the Customer Success department at start-up biotech/neurotech company. The team is amazing and passionate and I love working there.
I’ve always been a night-owl. The necessities of holding a regular job make me conform to a more “lark”-like sleep-wake cycle. However, if I have more than three days off of work my schedule starts to flip over to my natural owl setting. I do my best work after midnight.
I am lucky to be married to someone who “gets me” completely even though in a lot of ways we’re opposites of each other. We spent our first “date” in at the very end of 2000 lighting things on fire in my kitchen sink and never looked back from there. We were married in a private ceremony on the island of Moloka’i, Hawai’i in 2007 (yeah, we eloped. Best wedding ever for two introverts!)
I read voraciously, often with one or both of our dogs sitting on me.
